Their nature trail goes as long as one to three miles and is the perfect location for a chance to get out of the house and enjoy the outdoors. Come out for an evening walk with your loved one, or a daytime playdate with the kids. They have a wonderland of natural habitat, animal life, a stream, and wooden bridge entrance. Eldorado Nature Center has much to explore and is located between the 605 freeway and the San Gabriel River; practically in your back yard!

Another close by nature trail is the West San Gabriel River Parkway Nature Trail. Opened in 2014, over eighty-two acres of land located on the west side of the San Gabriel River. This trail is perfect for an evening hike with the kids and grandparents. Lakewood residents who enjoy to jog, hike, and walk through the native habitat regularly visit the path. The hiking trail features various plant life, trees, shrubs, wildflowers birds and small animals.
